During the conference, Cereno Scientific will engage in scheduled meetings with investors, potential pharmaceutical partners and other industry stakeholders to discuss recent clinical progress, upcoming milestones and the strategic potential of the Company’s pipeline. Cereno enters NLSDays at an important stage of clinical execution. The global Phase IIb EPIMODE trial of lead drug candidate CS1 in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is underway screening patients, while CS014 is approaching topline results from its FDA-aligned Phase I pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging study, anticipated in Q3 2026.

Cereno’s two clinical-stage HDAC inhibitor programs are built on epigenetic modulation, with the aim of addressing underlying mechanisms that drive disease progression, including pathological vascular remodeling, fibrosis and inflammation. The progression of both programs provides Cereno with multiple clinical value drivers while further strengthening the scientific case for the Company’s HDAC inhibitor approach.
CS1 is Cereno’s most advanced program and is being developed as a potential disease-modifying treatment for PAH, a rare, progressive and serious disease where significant unmet medical need remains. In the completed Phase IIa trial, CS1 demonstrated a favorable safety and tolerability profile together with efficacy signals suggesting improvements in right-heart function, functional class, risk score and patient quality of life, as well as early signs consistent with reverse vascular remodeling. The ongoing randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled Phase IIb EPIMODE trial represents the next important step in evaluating CS1’s potential. It is designed to assess efficacy, safety and tolerability, identify the optimal dose for further development and provide additional insight into the candidate’s potential disease-modifying effects.
CS014 provides an additional near-term clinical value driver. All dosing and participant visits in the FDA-aligned Phase I PK-bridging study have been completed, with topline results anticipated in Q3 2026. Subject to supportive results and continued regulatory alignment, the study may support a streamlined path toward Phase IIb development in pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD), without an additional Phase IIa study or further non-clinical safety studies. A Phase IIb trial in PH-ILD is currently planned to initiate in Q3 2027.
With CS1 advancing in Phase IIb and CS014 approaching an important near-term milestone, Cereno continues to increase the clinical maturity of its pipeline and build multiple potential drivers of future value. Cereno Scientific is also advancing the preclinical program CS585, an oral, highly potent and selective prostacyclin (IP) receptor agonist shown to prevent thrombosis without increased bleeding risk, currently being evaluated in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).
