Design (FEED)
• Il contratto comprende le attività di FEED, lo sviluppo della documentazione chiave ai fini autorizzativi e il supporto al processo autorizzativo della Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) • A seguito del completamento del FEED, della conclusione del processo autorizzativo FERC e della Decisione Finale di Investimento (FID) del cliente, è previsto che il progetto evolva nella fase EPC
Milano, 28 settembre 2026 –MAIRE (MAIRE.MI) annuncia che Tecnimont USA Inc . ha firmato con Argent LNG, LLC il contratto di Front -End-Engineering Design (FEED) per lo sviluppo del complesso LNG destinato all’esportazione di Argent LNG a Port Fourchon, Louisiana .
Ai sensi del contratto, Tecnimont USA svolgerà le attività di ingegneria FEED e fornirà supporto tecnico al processo autorizzativo FERC. Lo scopo del lavoro comprende la pianificazione e la documentazione per l’esecuzione del progetto, la stima dei tempi e dei costi, gli studi sulla sicurezza e sull’affidabilità e l’integrazione dei principali pacchetti tecnologici dell’impianto.
Il FEED definirà il quadro tecnico del progetto, favorendo la certezza dell’esecuzione e la bancabilità. Facendo leva sull’esperienza di Tecnimont negli impianti industriali complessi e nella progettazione modulare, le parti intendono creare una piattaform a scalabile per future opportunità nel settore delle infrastrutture LNG.
A seguito della conclusione del processo autorizzativo FERC, del completamento del FEED e della Decisione Finale di Investimento del cliente, è previsto che il progetto evolva nella fase EPC.
La firma rappresenta una tappa significativa a seguito dell’accordo di collaborazione tra Tecnimont e Argent LNG, già annunciato il 21 gennaio 2026, che ha definito il ruolo di Tecnimont quale fornitore di servizi integrati di ingegneria e tecnologia per l ’iniziativa.

Il complesso, che sarà situato in uno dei poli energetici degli Stati Uniti resilienti agli uragani, avrà una capacità complessiva di 25 milioni di tonnellate all’anno (MTPA) .

Argent LNG sta sviluppando la nuova generazione di capacità statunitense di esportazione di LNG. Il suo progetto di punta, un terminale di liquefazione ed esportazione da 25 milioni di tonnellate all’anno (MTPA) su un’area di 900 acri a Port Fourchon, Loui siana, è progettato fin dall’origine per garantire resilienza, scalabilità e rapidità di accesso al mercato. Situato nel cuore del corridoio ener getico offshore del Golfo d’America, il complesso collegherà le abbondanti risorse di gas naturale degli Stati Uniti ai mercati di Europa, Mediterraneo, Medio Oriente e Africa occidentale.

Milan, 28 September 2026 – MAIRE (MAIRE.MI) announces that Tecnimont USA Inc . has signed the Front -End-Engineering Design (FEED) contract with Argent LNG, LLC for the development of Argent LNG ’s export facility at Port Fourchon, Louisiana .
Under the contract , Tecnimont USA will carry out FEED engineering activities and provide technical support to the FERC permitting process. The scope covers project execution planning and documentation, schedule and cost estimation, safety and reliability studies, and integr ation of the facility's key technology packages.
The FEED will define the project's technical definition, supporting certainty of execution and bankability. Building on Tecnimont's expertise i n complex industrial facilities and modular design, the parties aim to create a scalable platform for future LNG infrastructure opportunities.
Upon finalization of the FERC permitting process, completion of the FEED, and following the client’s F inal Investment Decision , the project is expected to roll over into the EPC phase.
The signing represents a significant milestone following the cooperation agreement between Tecnimont and Argent LNG already announced on 21 January 2026 , which defined Tecnimont’ s role as engineering and technology integrated services provider for the initiative.
The facility, which will be located in one of the United States’ hurricane -resilient energy hubs, will have a total capacity of 25 million tons per annum ( MTPA ).
