SIMONE REPORTS REVENUES OF €8.7M AS OF 30 JUNE 2026, UP 24% COMPARED TO
THE FIRST HALF OF 2025
Strategic growth businesses continue to expand: strong contribution from Advanced Legal Training and Children’s Publishing. Digital monetisation of the Group’s Legal Heritage launched through partnerships with Legal AI and RegTech platforms
Naples, 27 July 2026
Simone (SMN:IM) announces preliminary consolidated revenues of €8.7m as of 30 June 2026 , not subject to statutory audit, up 24% compared with €7.0m recorded as of 30 June 2025. The growth reflects the contribution of the strategic initiatives launched during 2025 , particularly the Group’s entry into the Advanced Legal Training market and the strengthening of the Children’s Publishing segment.
Luca Misso , CEO: “The first half of 2026 marks an important milestone in the transformation journey undertaken by the Simone Group. The acquisitions completed during 2025 are beginning to deliver both economic and strategic contributions, confirming the validity of our gro wth strategy through acquisitions. Advanced Legal Training and Children’s Publishing have already achieved development levels consistent with our initial expectations, demonstrating the Group’s ability to integrate new publishing businesses and rapidly unl ock their potential. At the same time, our digital Legal Heritage represents a strategic medium -term growth driver in which we have invested significantly over recent months. Through Simone LexCore, we have transformed a proprietary editorial heritage into a structured data infrastructure, ready to be integrated into the new digital ecosystems of the legal sector. The partnerships launched with technology operators, including Lexroom and Eulo Tech/OpenLeges , confirm Simone Group’s role as a bridge between editorial authority and technological innovation. The economic contribution of these new activities is still at an early stage, but we believe that the combination of high -quality proprietary content and th e technological capabilities developed internally represents a significant growth opportunity for the coming years.”
Legal & Professional Revenues from the Legal & Professional segment amounted to €6.2m, up 6% compared with €5.8m as of 30 June 2025.
Publishing
Revenues from the Publishing business line amounted to €5.5m, down 6% compared with €5.8m in June 2025.
Performance reflects the normal timing -related variability of the public recruitment examination market, which is strongly correlated with the publication schedule of recruitment notices. Following a positive start to the year, the second quarter recorded a temporary slowdown, followed by a recovery towards the end of June.
Overall, the results highlight a gradual evolution in the editorial mix, with growth in specialised legal publishing partiall y offsetting the lower contribution from public examination preparation manuals. This development was also supported by the expansi on of the Group’s editorial assets through the management of the business unit of Il Foro Italiano, one of Italy’s most authoritative legal publications, further strengthening the Group’s positioning in the professional legal information market.
Advanced Legal Training The Advanced Legal Training business line generated revenues of €0.7m. The result represents the first full economic contribution from the business acquired in July 2025 through the acquisition of Dike Formazione, which represents one of the Group’s main strategic drivers in the evolution of its business model, aimed at expan ding its traditional publishing presence towards high value -added services characterised by greater recurrence, scalability and strong specialisation.
The results achieved during the first half of 2026 are consistent with the expectations established at the time of the acquisition. Historically, the acquired activities generated average annual revenues of approximately €1.0m and an

# 2 EBITDA margin of approximately 33%. The contribution recorded during the first six months following integration therefore confirms the company’s ability to maintain a growth trajectory in line with the original industrial objectives.
Particularly significant was the performance of the specialised training segment focused on public procurement, through the ItaliAppalti project, targeting public administrations, companies and professionals operating in the public procurement market. The increasing regulatory complexity of the sector, together with the need for continuous professional updating among both public and privat e operators, continues to support structural demand for high -
quality training. In this context, Dike Formazione distinguishes itself through its ability to provide highly practical training programmes delivered by a faculty with outstanding academic and institutional credentials and an approach focused on solving operational challenges. Market validation was further confirmed by the recent results of training courses dedicated to the new Italian Public Contracts Code and its subsequent amendments, which sold out in both Venice and Bologna, attracting professionals, public administration officials and market operators.
By combining editorial expertise, specialised content and digital learning platforms, the Group intends to further develop this business line, which is characterised by high barriers to entry and significant medium - to long-term growth opportunities.
Digital monetisation of the Legal Heritage During the first half of 2026, the digital monetisation activities relating to the Group’s Legal Heritage did not yet generate a significant economic contribution, in line with the commercial launch phase of the new products and services. However, the period marked an important strategic milestone with the completion of the development of Simone LexCore , the Group’s proprietary technological platform designed to transform legal editorial content into structured, continuously updated datasets that can be distributed through multiple channels. The monetisation of the Group’s digital Legal Heritage has been initiated through strategic partnerships with technology operators in the
sector:
• with Lexroom, an AI-native platform for legal professionals, the Group has started integrating a selection of legal publications into a digital environment dedicated to legal research and professional practice;
• with EuloTech/OpenLeges , a Legal & RegTech platform based on generative Artificial Intelligence, the integration has begun of the editorial assets of Il Foro Italiano , comprising more than one million documents, case notes and headnotes.
These initiatives represent the first stage in the development of a new business model based on the monetisation of proprietary content through digital ecosystems, software platforms and Legal AI applications.
The commercial launch of the Group’s new proprietary digital legal database is expected by the end of 2026.
Children’s Publishing
The Children’s Publishing segment recorded revenues of €1.0m, compared with €89 thousand as of 30 June 2025.
Growth is primarily attributable to the contribution of subsidiary Topipittori S.r.l. , acquired in July 2025, which contributed €0.7m. The result confirms the strategic rationale of the acquisition, completed with the objective of strengthening the Group’s position in high -quality children’s publishing and initiating the creation of a European publishing platform dedicated to independent publishing brands characterised by strong creative value and international recognition.
Topipittori’s performance is consistent with the expectations established at the time of the acquisition. Based on its historical results, the company had generated average revenues of approximately €1.3m over the previous three years and an average adjusted EBITDA of approximately €250 thousand . Considering the revenues generated during the first half of 2026, together with the contribution already recorded during the second half of 2025 following its acquisition, performance confirms a growth trajectory consistent with the industrial objectives of the transaction.
Subsidiary Éditions Mémo , acquired in October 2025, represents a further element of the Group’s international aggregation project. The company is currently in the initial phase of its integration and reorganisation process, with the objective of progressively enhancing the value of its catalogue and editorial expertise.

# 3 The development strategy for this segment is based on leveraging high -quality editorial content and expanding its distribution across international markets, where independent publishers' works can benefit from significant growth opportunities.
Educational Publishing
In the Educational Publishing segment, revenues amounted to €1.4m, up 37% compared with €1.0m as of 30 June 2025.
The half-year result should be interpreted in light of the strong seasonality of the sector : the majority of revenues relating to school textbooks are generated during the second half of the year, in conjunction with the start of the new school year. Consequently, first -half revenues are mainly related to supplementary educational activities, holiday books and materials supporting preparation for INVALSI national assessments, while the most significant contribution derives from the school adoption campaign carried out during the follo wing months.
A particularly significant indicator for assessing the prospective performance of the segment is represented by school textbook adoption data for the 2026/2027 academic year , which measures the number of classes selecting the Group’s publications and anticipates potential sales of educational products.
Within this framework, Editrice Ardea Web , active in primary education, recorded a 17% increase in textbook adoptions , a particularly significant result considering the market environment characterised by a declining school population and increasing competitive pressure. The result confirms the effectiveness of the Group’s editorial and commercial strategies, based on the development of innovative educational content, product quality and the strengtheni ng of relationships with the teaching community. Simone per la Scuola , active in secondary education, also recorded positive adoption trends, with growth of approximately 2%, confirming the strength of the brand’s positioning in a challenging market.
The Group will continue to develop this segment through new editorial and commercial initiatives, with the objective of consolidating its market share and enhancing synergies between Educational Publishing and Children’s Publishing.
About Simone
The Simone Group, founded in 1968, is the custodian of a unique legal heritage. Predominantly proprietary, updated on a daily basis and complete with current legislation, case law and authored content, it is progressively being transformed into a structure d legal dataset through the proprietary Simone LexCore platform: this infrastructure enables content distribution through B2C digital database subscriptions, integration into third -party software and platforms via APIs, and the supply of data for Legal AI and machine learning applications.
This heritage supports the Advanced Legal Training business delivered through Dike Formazione, accredited by the Scuola Nazio nale dell’Amministrazione (SNA), with content, methodologies and training programmes aimed both at key Public Administration professionals and at companies and professionals operating in public procurement markets, positioning itself in a segment characterised by the presence of few truly structured private operators. At the same time, it constitutes the foundation of the Group’s historical business in competitive examination publishing, a sector from which the Group derives its experience and established reputation.
Simone is also active in children’s publishing, with European initiatives aimed at building a platform of high -quality content and supporting international growth in the sector, and in educational publishing, with a selective and organic approach aimed at enhancing market opportunities in a targeted way.
