PRESS RELEASE WIIT AG: new five-year contract signed, worth €3.15 million, with a leading retail company in the DACH region Coloca'on, disaster recovery, network services and service management suppor'ng the Client's IT transforma'on Düsseldorf, 26 August 2026 – WIIT S.p.A. (“WIIT” or the “Company”; ISIN IT0005440893; WIIT.MI), European leader in the market of Private and Hybrid Cloud services for CriOcal ApplicaOons, announces the signing, through its German subsidiary WIIT AG, of a new contract with a leading retail and e-commerce company in the DACH region (the "Client"), which generated revenues of approximately €2.2 billion in the 2024/2025 financial year. The agreement has a five-year term for a total value of €3.15 million and covers colocaOon, disaster recovery, network services and service management. The long term partnership also offers both companies the opportunity to progressively expand the agreed acOviOes. The Client's decision to rely on WIIT was driven by the need for a partner of proven value, capable of ensuring a stable, modern IT infrastructure and a superior level of service. Recurring technical issues in the previous operaOng environment had in fact prompted the Client to review its IT infrastructure and select a solid partner like WIIT, able to respond with next-generaOon soluOons to the conOnuity and security needs typical of the retail sector. WIIT will provide the Client with a high-performance, resilient environment for mission-criOcal IT systems, combining modern data centre infrastructure with professional services delivered by in-house specialists, dedicated contacts and 24/7 support. To further strengthen resilience, the overall soluOon leverages the reliability of mulOple data centres across two German regions – North-West and South. This geographically distributed setup ensures maximum availability and business conOnuity for the Client's mission-criOcal systems, even in the event of regional disrupOon. The soluOon is completed by the direct network connecOon of the Client's locaOons, made possible by WIIT AG's carrier services, which enable dedicated connecOons to be established to the retail company's sites and ensure reliable and efficient data exchange between the locaOons and the infrastructure operated by WIIT. In addiOon, the network connecOvity is safeguarded by WIIT's integrated DDoS protecOon, shielding the Client's infrastructure and locaOons against distributed denial-of-service a`acks and ensuring uninterrupted, secure data exchange at all Omes. ***
