Wärtsilä Corporation, Press release, 15 July 2026 at 12:00 EEST
Technology group Wärtsilä has signed a five-year Lifecycle Agreement with Ireland-based Pardus Energy to support the reliable and predictable operation of the company’s Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) vessel, 'TURQUOISE P'. The agreement will provide dedicated contract management, maintenance planning and spare parts to help Pardus Energy improve maintenance readiness, strengthen cost predictability and prepare for major planned overhaul events during the contract period. The order was booked by Wärtsilä in Q2 2026.
Operating as a stationary FSRU at the ETKI LNG terminal in Aliaga, Türkiye, the vessel plays a critical role in supporting gas supply continuity. This means unplanned downtime can have significant operational and commercial consequences. By moving to a structured long-term service model, Pardus Energy will secure timely access to Wärtsilä OEM spare parts, increase availability and reduce uncertainty around major planned overhaul events.
“Reliable operations and careful maintenance planning are essential for FSRU vessels. This agreement gives us a clear long-term framework for managing key maintenance activities, securing OEM spare parts and preparing for the planned 36K and 48K overhauls with greater confidence," says Osman Kolay, Head of LNGC/FSRU Operations - Pardus Energy.
The 'TURQUOISE P' was commissioned in 2019 and is fitted with Wärtsilä equipment. The agreement also supports more sustainable and efficient lifecycle management by helping ensure the vessel’s Wärtsilä equipment is maintained in optimal operating condition.
“This agreement is about giving Pardus Energy greater certainty over the lifecycle of a critical FSRU asset. By combining Wärtsilä’s OEM expertise, maintenance planning and spare parts support, we can help Pardus Energy improve reliability, reduce operational risk and plan long-term operations with greater confidence,” says Henrik Wilhelms, Director, Agreement Sales, Wärtsilä Marine.
The agreement with Pardus Energy took effect from April 2026.
