W5 Solutions provides preliminary earnings update for the third quarter of 2026 and preliminary outlook for the full year 2026

W5 Solutions AB (publ) ("W5 Solutions" or the "Company") today provides a preliminary earnings update for the third quarter of 2026 and a preliminary outlook for the full year 2026. Operating profit (EBIT) for the third quarter is expected to amount to approximately SEK -20 million to -30 million, compared with SEK 1 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The Company expects net sales for the third quarter of 2026 to increase by approximately 90 per cent compared with the same quarter last year. At the same time, the Company expects net sales for the full year 2026 to increase by approximately 60-70 per cent compared with full-year 2025, while operating profit (EBIT) for the full year 2026 is expected to amount to approximately SEK -10 million to 0 million, compared with SEK 38 million for full-year 2025.

Delays in deliveries within one of the Group's larger projects mean that approximately SEK 20 million of operating profit is expected to be recognised in the fourth quarter of 2026 rather than in the third quarter of 2026. The delays do not affect the planned delivery volume for the full year and are therefore not expected to impact the Company's operating profit (EBIT) for the full year 2026.
As a result of this earnings timing effect, operating profit for the third quarter is expected to amount to approximately SEK -20 million to -30 million. Preliminary estimates also indicate that the gross margin has improved compared with the second quarter of 2026. The improvement is driven primarily by a more favourable project mix, price adjustments, and a lower proportion of low-gross margin third-party business.
The Company continues to see strong demand and expects robust growth during the remainder of the year. Supported by the existing order book and planned deliveries, W5 Solutions expects that the majority of the negative operating profit reported during the first half of 2026 will be recovered during the second half of the year.
Overall, W5 Solutions expects net sales for the full year 2026 to increase by approximately 60-70 per cent compared with 2025. Operating profit (EBIT) for the full year 2026 is expected to amount to approximately SEK -10 million to 0 million, compared with SEK 38 million for full-year 2025, including one-off costs of approximately SEK 20 million related to the acquisition of KT-Shelter.
To strengthen profitability, W5 Solutions is implementing a number of measures, including price adjustments and cost-saving initiatives. The Company's financial targets of SEK 1,000 million in net sales and an EBIT margin of 10 per cent for 2027 remain unchanged.
