Volvo Car USA is strengthening its regional leadership as it continues to focus on sales growth, retailer engagement and customer experience across the U.S. The company has appointed two new U.S. regional heads: Kimberly Walker as Head of the Western Region and Daryl Bazemore as Head of the Central Region.
Bringing decades of experience and industry knowledge, Walker and Bazemore will work closely with Volvo Cars retailers to enhance business performance, strengthen local market strategies, and identify opportunities for growth in alignment with the company’s ambition to become a profitable, electrified premium brand.
In July, Volvo Car USA expanded its regional structure with the creation of the Central Region, based in Dallas, Texas. The new four-region structure brings dedicated teams closer to customers and retailers, enabling faster decision-making, stronger relationships, and more localized support.
Walker brings more than three decades of automotive experience across Nissan North America, Hyundai Motor America, and Mazda North American Operation, with leadership roles overseeing sales, marketing, aftersales, customer experience, and regional operations, particularly in the highly-electrified California market, a key growth area for Volvo Cars.
Bazemore brings more than 20 years of automotive experience, in addition to being a veteran of the U.S. Army. He began his career in dealership retail before moving to the OEM side with American Honda for the majority of his career, where he held leadership roles across fixed operations, sales, network strategy, and field operations.
“Kimberly and Daryl bring proven experience leading large, high-volume retailer networks, positioning them to make an immediate impact at Volvo Car USA,” said Luis Rezende, President, Volvo Car Americas. “Their experience will allow them to work closely with our retailer partners from day one, helping us better understand their needs, address challenges, and find practical solutions. Together with our strong retailer network, they will help us stay close to our customers, strengthen our business, and identify opportunities for growth.”
Walker will be based at the company’s Western Region office in Irvine, California, and Bazemore will be based at the company’s Central Region office in Dallas.
