VenHub to Expand Smart Store Deployments Into Multifamily Residential Market; First VenHub Autonomous Retail Store Will Be at Penn Lofts in Bend, Oregon

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VenHub Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: VHUB) (“VenHub” or the “Company”), a leader in fully autonomous Smart Store technology, today announced plans for the first deployment of its Smart Store autonomous retail platform at Penn Lofts, a new 59-unit multifamily development in Bend, Oregon.
The deployment represents an important expansion of the VenHub Smart Store platform into the multifamily residential market, where the Company is seeing growing demand from developers and property owners seeking new ways to enhance the resident experience and differentiate their communities. By bringing convenient access to everyday products and essentials directly to where people live, VenHub aims to create value for both residents and multifamily owners.

For residents, a VenHub Smart Store offers the convenience of on-site shopping without a separate trip to a traditional store. For developers, owners and property managers, it provides a distinctive amenity that can strengthen a property’s appeal, support resident satisfaction and retention, and add a tangible point of differentiation to leasing and marketing efforts. As a highly visible feature within a community, a VenHub Smart Store can also help owners showcase their investment in convenience, technology and the resident experience.
VenHub has worked closely with the developer to integrate the VenHub Smart Store directly into the design and plans for the new community. Rather than being added to the property as an afterthought, the VenHub Smart Store is being incorporated as a core resident amenity, allowing it to fit seamlessly within the development while providing convenient access to everyday products and essentials.
The deployment also demonstrates the flexibility of VenHub’s autonomous retail platform across residential properties of varying sizes. VenHub can offer various configurations of its Smart Store format including smaller-sized formats that are well suited to serve communities such as this 59-unit development and full-size stores capable of serving a greater number of residents and a broader range of products.
VenHub expects the multifamily residential sector will serve as a significant long-term growth opportunity and intends to make autonomous retail a valuable amenity for apartment communities, deploying VenHub Smart Stores based on the size, density and needs of each community. This first deployment at Penn Lofts can serve as a test case for future deployments in other multifamily developments as the Company addresses this attractive market opportunity.

“Multifamily residential communities represent a significant growth opportunity for VenHub, and we are seeing increasing demand from developers and property owners who recognize the value of bringing autonomous retail directly into their communities,” said Shahan Ohanessian, Founder and CEO of VenHub. “Residents increasingly expect convenience to be built into where they live. Our flexible platform helps owners meet that expectation with a distinctive, highly visible amenity that adds value for residents and helps properties stand out – from smaller communities to larger multifamily developments. Penn Lofts is an ideal first deployment to demonstrate how our technology can be thoughtfully integrated into a community from the beginning.”
Penn Lofts is being developed as a modern residential community in Bend, Oregon. The development team worked with VenHub during the planning process to identify a location and configuration that makes the store a natural part of the property and easily accessible to residents.
VenHub plans to build on the Penn Lofts deployment as it expands into the multifamily sector. The Company believes its autonomous retail platform can provide developers, apartment owners and property managers with a new type of resident amenity while creating a significant new deployment channel for VenHub.
The company is actively evaluating additional multifamily opportunities and expects to provide updates regarding additional properties and deployments as its multifamily strategy develops.
