Teollisuuden Voima Oyj’s (TVO) green financing supports the company’s climate goals and low-carbon electricity generation at Olkiluoto. The reports describe the allocation of TVO’s green financing proceeds and their environmental impacts.
In 2025, TVO strengthened its position in the sustainable finance market by issuing its first green bond based on the European Green Bond Standard. The proceeds from the European Green Bond have been allocated to EU Taxonomy-aligned investments related to the Olkiluoto 3 plant unit.
- Through green financing, we support low-carbon electricity generation and investments that contribute to climate change mitigation over the long term. Green Bond reporting provides investors with a transparent view of how the proceeds are used and the environmental impacts achieved, says Mikko Honkaheimo, Director, Finance and Risk Management at TVO.
The European Green Bond Allocation Report 2025, European Green Bond Impact Report 2025, and ICMA Allocation and Impact Report 2025, together with the independent assurance reports, are available on TVO’s website under Financial Publications: TVO - Financial publications.
TVO’s Green Finance Framework is available on TVO’s website under Debt Programmes: TVO - Debt programmes.
