Travelex Q2 2026 Results

The Company reports results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026 for Travelex International Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Group’), a global travel money provider and wholesale banknote supplier:   

• Trading in Q226 continued to be impacted by the Middle East conflict, which disrupted regional stores, global currency supply chains and international travel patterns.The Group has taken steps to actively manage costs whilst supporting colleagues, customers,partnersand local communitiesaffected by the conflict.
• In June 2026, the Group agreed with its shareholders to cancel 70% of its investor loans, which demonstrated ongoing investor support for the Group’s strategy and strengthened the financial position.
• The Group is successfully pursuing revenue growth opportunities.  We are proud to announce that we won the Sydney International Airport contract during the quarter and opened for business on 1 July 2026 (Q3).  Other successes included winning Dusseldorf Airport and extending at Edinburgh Airport.
• The Group recently entered into a definitive agreement to sell Banco Travelex S.A., our bank in Brazil, to StoneX Group – a global financial services organisation listed on Nasdaq. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval in Brazil, with closing expected by Q3 2027.
• Q2 revenue was £97.5m, £15.5m lower than Q225 on a like-for-like (LFL) basis.

• Underlying EBITDA was £3.9m, £3.6m lower than Q225 on a like-for-like basis. 
• Targeted reductions in overheads and support costs, and a decrease in trading costs in line with revenue, mitigated the impact on EBITDA.  The Group continues to focus on cost discipline and operational efficiency.
