REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan India Growth & Income plc (the "Company") has today repurchased 8,783 ordinary shares into Treasury at 852.0731 pence per share.
Following the transaction, the Company holds 36,186,023 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 43,609,482. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
