REPURCHASE OF SHARES INTO TREASURY

The Company announces that it has today repurchased into Treasury 500,000 Ordinary shares at 130.64 pence per share.
Following the transaction, the Company holds 16,120,341 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 596,826,829. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to Net Asset Value.
