Trafikverket (the Swedish Transport Administration) has awarded Terranor AB, a subsidiary of Terranor Group, a three-year framework agreement for minor road construction contracts, with an option to extend for a further year. The contract is a call-off contract and covers Gothenburg, Östergötland County, Jönköping County and northern Kalmar County. The framework agreement runs from August 2026, and Terranor estimates the total value at SEK 150–200 million for the entire contract period. The actual outcome depends on the Swedish Transport Administration’s future call-off orders.
The framework agreement covers works relating to road safety measures, footpaths and cycle paths, bus stops and other minor road and civil engineering works, with a maximum contract value of SEK 20 million per call-off. The structure of the contract enables Terranor to also carry out work in Södermanland County, Halland County, Stockholm County, Uppsala County and the inland areas of Västerbotten.
“We are very pleased that the Swedish Transport Administration has placed its trust in us to be part of this framework agreement. It is a testament to our expertise, our delivery capacity and our long-term commitment to creating safe and sustainable solutions for Swedish infrastructure. The contract also creates good synergies with our existing operations and maintenance business, enabling us to utilise our local presence, our resources and our experience even more effectively,” says Per Sjöblom, Head of Sweden at Terranor AB.
