During the first half of 2026, Teollisuuden Voima Oyj’s (TVO) electricity generation at the Olkiluoto 1 (OL1)-, Olkiluoto 2 (OL2)- and Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) plant units continued in a stable manner.
The total electricity production of the plant units during the period in review was 12,260 (9,802) GWh.
The Supreme Administrative Court has issued an interim ruling on June 2026 concerning the responsibility and cost dispute related to the transmission system protection enabling electricity generation above 1,300 MW at OL3. The Court decided to prohibit the enforcement of the Market Court’s decisions issued in autumn 2025 in both the responsibility and cost matters. According to the ruling, the earlier decisions of the Energy Authority must be complied with during the appeal process until the Supreme Administrative Court issues its final decision or orders otherwise.
In May 2026 TVO signed a new EUR 800 million Green Revolving Credit Facility.
In May 2026 TVO published an updated Green Finance Framework. In addition to green bonds, the framework now covers a broader range of green debt instruments, including green bank loans.
In June 2026, TVO announced changes to the composition of the TVO Group’s Executive Team. The changes will become effective on 1 September 2026.
The refuelling outage for OL2 began on 6 April, and ended on 17 April 2026. The service outage for OL1 began on 19 April, and ended on 16 June 2026.
