Synectics' Synergy Achieves CAPSS Certification
Synectics has achieved UK Government CAPSS certification for its Synergy platform, enhancing its competitive position in critical national infrastructure and other security-critical markets.
Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance solutions, announces that its security and surveillance platform, Synergy, has achieved Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems (CAPSS) certification from the UK National Protective Security Authority (NPSA).
The certification independently verifies that Synergy meets the UK Government's stringent cyber security standards for physical security systems, reinforcing the platform's suitability for deployment across critical national infrastructure (CNI), including utilities, transport, policing, government facilities and public spaces. CAPSS is UK-Government endorsed and reflects internationally recognised cyber security best practice, providing additional confidence for organisations protecting critical assets around the world.
CAPSS certification also secures Synergy's inclusion in the NPSA Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE), enhancing its visibility to government departments and infrastructure operators seeking cyber-assured security and surveillance solutions.
As cyber resilience becomes an increasingly important procurement requirement for physical security systems across CNI and other highly regulated markets, Synergy is the only integrated security and surveillance platform from a UK-headquartered provider certified to the latest CAPSS 2025 standard, strengthening Synectics' position in security-critical markets in the UK and internationally.
