Swiss Post Converts Stamp Programme to Hybrid Stamps Increasing Contract Revenue
Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high-speed banknote authentication, security printing, brand protection technologies, and gaming security software, is pleased to provide an update regarding its long-standing relationship with Swiss Post.
Following the successful completion of a pilot programme, Swiss Post has confirmed that it will transition its stamp programme to hybrid stamps with data-matrix codes (Hybrid stamps). Hybrid stamps offer enhanced security, improved traceability and customer engagement opportunities. This decision reflects the growing adoption of enhanced postal security and digital engagement technologies.
The transition to hybrid stamps is expected to result in an approximate 40% increase in revenue over the 5-year contract period, which commenced in 2024 and which has an additional one-year option. The value over the entire contract, including the one-year option increases its value to approximately $1.6M.
