Whistlejacket Surface Sampling Returns up to 4.24% Li₂O, Strengthening 2026 Drill Targets
Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM: BHLL), the North America-focused lithium development company, is pleased to announce strong surface assay results from its Whistlejacket Lithium Project ("Whistlejacket" or "WJ"), held subject to the Company's Option to Joint Venture agreement with Kennecott Exploration Company ("KEX"). The results, as part of ongoing exploration work by the Company, include spodumene-bearing pegmatite outcrops identified for priority sampling in areas targeted by the Company's planned 2026 drilling programme. These new results coupled with KEX surface sample results will be used to further refine drill targeting ahead and alongside the commencement of drilling.
Highlights:
· High-grade lithium assays of up to 4.24% Li₂O returned from the second phase of surface sampling at Whistlejacket;
· Out of 190 rock samples analysed, 29 (15.3%) returned grades above 0.50% Li₂O, including 15 (7.9%) above 1.50% Li₂O;
· These impressive results strengthen the prospectivity of several priority areas identified by KEX and provide additional geochemical support for refining the Company's 2026 drill targets;
· Five prospective areas outside the current 2026 permitted drill programme have been highlighted for further evaluation, including one newly identified by the BHL exploration team, expanding the pipeline of potential targets for future drilling;
· A further 43 surface rock samples are undergoing laboratory analysis, providing additional near-term results to support ongoing drill target generation and refinement;
· All 190 rock samples returned iron content below 1.0% Fe, with the majority below 0.5% Fe, consistent with the low-iron characteristics observed across the sampled LCT type pegmatites;
· Following the Company's recently announced successful fundraise, Bradda is well positioned to rapidly advance its 2026 exploration programmes at Whistlejacket and San Domingo, including the commencement of planned drilling activities (see PR dated July 17, 2026).

Surface samples
The Company has received assay results from its second phase of surface sampling at Whistlejacket (Figure 1). Following the initial rock-chip sampling programme announced in our 15 June 2026 PR, sampling continued to focus on newly generated targets identified by the BHL exploration team and on areas previously explored by KEX, with the objective of increasing sampling density and refining targets ahead of drilling. To date, BHL has collected and received laboratory results on 250 samples, 190 of which are presented in this announcement.
A total of 198 samples were submitted to SGS for analysis, comprised of 190 rock samples and 8 quality control samples (CRM's, Figure 1). 29 of the rock chip samples returned lithium grades exceeding 0.50% Li₂O, including 24 samples grading above 1.00% Li₂O (representing 12.6% of all rock samples submitted, excluding CRM's) and 15 samples exceeding 1.50% Li₂O (Table 1), with the highest assay returning 4.24% Li₂O from a near-horizontal pegmatite in the vicinity of the main targets. The range of Li2O values is 4.24% to 0.04%. Some of the lower values appear to reside in spodumene bearing pegmatites, but display increased levels of altered spodumene, something not commonly found at Whistlejacket. All samples within this batch are select from rock chips from outcrops deemed to contain visible lithium bearing minerals, dominated by spodumene.
All 190 rock samples returned low iron contents (<1.0% Fe), with the majority containing less than 0.5% Fe, reinforcing the favorable mineralogical and metallurgical characteristics of the project. In addition to lithium, the rock sampling programme returned elevated concentrations of tantalum (Ta), niobium (Nb), cesium (Cs) and rubidium (Rb), consistent with rare-element enrichment within the Whistlejacket pegmatite system. Maximum values included 304 ppm Ta, 270 ppm Nb, 208 ppm Cs and 5,659 ppm Rb, with 90 of the 190 rock samples returning more than 1,000 ppm Rb (Table 1). The distribution of these elements provides additional geochemical vectors that may assist in interpreting pegmatite fractionation and refining exploration targeting.
The results have also highlighted five prospective areas outside the current 2026 permitted drilling programme (Figure 2). Four correspond with areas previously identified through KEX exploration activities. Areas A and B were previously highlighted in Figure 2 of the Company's announcement dated 15 June 2026, while Areas C and D represent zones of sub-vertical pegmatites where increased sampling density has provided additional evidence of mineralized continuity (Figure 3). A fifth area (Area E) represents a newly generated target identified by the BHL exploration team and comprises a steeply dipping pegmatite displaying fresh crystalline spodumene mineralization. Preliminary field observations indicate a pegmatite body approximately 8 m wide at surface that appears to narrow towards its contact with the meta tuff. Collectively, these areas expand the Company's pipeline of prospective drill targets and will be further evaluated for potential inclusion in future exploration and drilling programmes.
A further 43 surface rock samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis, with results expected to provide additional geochemical coverage and support continued target refinement ahead of and alongside the 2026 exploration programme.
QAQC
Rock-chip samples were collected under the supervision of Hugo Zuniga, Senior Project Manager. Sample locations were recorded in the field, and samples were bagged, secured and transported to the Company's core facility before delivery by Company personnel to the SGS preparation facility in Tempe, Arizona. Following sample preparation, pulps were shipped to SGS Laboratories in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, for analysis using sodium peroxide fusion with ICP-AES and ICP-MS finish (method GE_ICM90A50). Certified reference materials were inserted into the sample stream as part of the Company's QA/QC procedures and reviewed by Hugo Zuniga. The San Domingo Project comprises 248 claims covering approximately 1850 acres, located primarily on BLM land, along with two Arizona State Land Department claims. To date, 108 drill holes totaling 13,089 m of core drilling have been completed across three drilling campaigns. The project area hosts more than 1,000 mapped pegmatites, of which 18 have been identified as priority targets, with six tested by drilling. The area currently holds two active Notices of Intent (NOI) permits, and updated drilling plans are in place that can be implemented once all required permits for the pegmatite targets are secured. The objective of the next exploration phase is to further delineate the most prospective areas and advance them toward potential Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) and NI 43-101 compliant reporting.
The Whistlejacket Project comprises nine Arizona State Land Department Mineral Exploration Permits (MEPs), covering a total of 2,010.7 hectares. The project is subject to a definitive Option to Joint Venture agreement with Kennecott Exploration Company (KEX) and targets spodumene-bearing pegmatites. KEX previous Exploration include 19 drilled diamond drill holes totaling 4,188 meters, with all holes intersecting lithium mineralization. Notable results include 51.0 meters at 1.11% Li₂O in hole WSTL0009 and 19.47 meters at 1.66% Li₂O in hole WSTL0008 (https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/BHL/whistlejacket-review-of-previous-results/17534407). In addition, the project has benefited from extensive surface mapping, sampling, airborne geophysics, and the acquisition of high-resolution aerial imagery, significantly enhancing the geological understanding and overall value of the asset.
The Group intends to continue to develop its three phase one projects in Arizona, whilst endeavoring to unlock value at its other prospective pegmatite and brine assets in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
