Silo Pharma Receives U.S. Patent Allowance for SPC-15 PTSD Treatment, Expanding Intellectual Property Portfolio
Allowed claims cover compositions and methods for preventing or mitigating stress-induced behavioral responses
SARASOTA, FLA., Sept. 18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silo Pharma (Nasdaq: SILO) (“Silo” or “the Company”), a developmental-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on novel therapeutics and drug delivery systems with a wholly owned managed AI agent platform, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Notice of Allowance for a patent application covering its lead asset, SPC-15, a novel intranasal therapeutic targeting post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The invention, titled “Compositions and Methods for the Prevention of Stress-Induced Fear, Depressive-Like and Anxiety-Like Behavior,” is also covered by a corresponding patent issued by the Japan Patent Office earlier this year.
