Sensys Gatso Australia signs contract for the supply and installation of traffic safety systems with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads worth SEK 38 million

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions built on trusted innovation, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso Australia, has signed a contract to the value of AUD 6 million, corresponding to approximately SEK 38 million to supply and install new systems at existing enforcement sites from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

The objective of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is to provide reliable, resilient, and responsive transport networks and services that are safe and accessible for everyone. Some of the actions to achieve this objective are covered by the Camera Detected Offence Program which manages enforcement technology and infrastructure throughout the State of Queensland.

Sensys Gatso Australia (SGA) will support this objective and actions through the delivery of this contract. SGA will provide upgrades to existing Sensys Gatso camera sites in Queensland and also add speed enforcement to the existing Red Light camera sites within the next 6 months. The new Sensys Gatso systems will replace the previous generation of Sensys Gatso technology and utilise existing infrastructure to ensure cost effective delivery. The contract value to be delivered is a total of approximately SEK 38 million.
