Rubean AG: Spanish payment service Bizum now available in the Rubean SoftPOS app
- Over 30 Million active end users can now pay at Rubean SoftPOS terminals, and
- More than 120,000 merchants already accept Bizum in Spain, many of them now also using Rubean SoftPOS
Munich, August 24, 2026. The Spanish payment service Bizum is now available as part of the range of payment methods for Spanish customers in the Rubean SoftPOS app from the fintech company Rubean AG, Munich (ISIN: DE0005120802, WKN: 512080, symbol R1B:GR).
Bizum holds approximately 90 per cent of the Spanish real-time payment market and dominates as the most popular mobile payment method. Over 30 million active users—representing approximately 60 per cent of the population and bankable citizens in Spain—use the service, which is integrated directly into banking apps, on their mobile phones.
