Following the press release issued earlier today, Altor Invest 8 AS, a company owned by Altor Fund VI (“Altor”) has successfully completed the sale of 22.4 million shares in Mandatum plc (“Mandatum” or the “Company”), equal to approximately 4.4% of the total shares outstanding in the Company (the “Placement”). The Placement was priced at EUR 6.11 per share. The Company will not receive any proceeds from the Placement.

The Placement was conducted by way of an accelerated book-building procedure carried out by Citigroup Global Markets Europe (”Citi”), ABG Sundal Collier ASA (“ABGSC”) and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ), Helsinki branch (”SEB”) and was directed to Finnish, Nordic and international institutional and other qualified investors.

Following the Placement, Altor no longer holds any shares in the Company. Altor is currently represented in the Board of Directors of Mandatum by Herman Korsgaard.

Citi, ABGSC and SEB acted as Joint Bookrunners in connection with the Placement.
