As previously communicated in Exchange Notice (175/26), effective Monday 14 September 2026 Nasdaq Derivatives Markets will introduce OMXS30 Daily Options with designated Monday, Wednesday and Friday expiries. Please note that the new daily option series will from the effective date be available in the exchange and clearing systems, while remaining suspended from trading. The first trading day will be Thursday 17 September 2026.
The transition from weekly to daily options will take place as follows:
On Friday 18 September 2026, the designated Friday expiry with expiration date 16 October 2026 will be listed and made available for trading. Thereafter, the standard expiry cycle will apply, whereby the nearest Monday, Wednesday and Friday expiries, together with the following three Friday expiries, are always available for trading. On each Monday and Wednesday expiration date, a new expiry one week out is introduced. On each Friday expiration date, a new expiry four weeks out is introduced.
Related amendments to Chapter A and Chapter B (Contract Specifications) of the Exchange and Clearing Rules of Nasdaq Derivatives Markets have been notified to members via regulatory notice, and Appendix 1 (Quotation List) will be amended in due course.
As of the effective date, the Equity Derivatives Fee List will be amended, including updates to the market maker fees. A revised version of the fee list is attached to this notice, with all changes marked in red. Related amendments to market maker obligations will be separately notified to market makers.
