q.beyond accelerates AI transformation and adjusts outlook for 2026 financial year
Cologne, 10 August 2026. Widespread deployment of artificial intelligence is enabling IT services provider q.beyond to exploit significantly greater efficiency potential than originally expected. In view of this, the Management Board today decided to accelerate the company’s AI transformation and consistently align the organisation to the new technological and macroeconomic conditions. This also involves personnel-related measures. The accelerated AI transformation will require one-off expenses of around € 5 million to € 6 million in the 2026 financial year. Like the ongoing reluctance on the part of German SMEs to invest, these expenses will impact on the company’s full-year outlook. q.beyond now expects to generate revenues of between € 176 million and € 180 million (previously: between € 182 million and € 190 million) and EBITDA* of € 3 million to € 7 million (previously: € 10 million to € 16 million). Furthermore, the company expects to report negative consolidated net income and negative free cash flow* on a one-off basis for the 2026 financial year. In return, q.beyond expects the accelerated AI transformation to create savings of around € 7 million a year from 2027 onwards. q.beyond expects to generate positive consolidated net income again and sustainably positive free cash flow from the 2027 financial year.
