PSI Adjusts Its Forecast for Fiscal Year 2026 in Light of Economic Uncertainties in Europe
Berlin, August 21, 2026 – The Executive Board of PSI Software SE today adjusted its forecast for fiscal year 2026. The Executive Board now expects revenue growth of 5 percent, a stabilization of order intake at the prior-year level (previously: growth in order intake and revenue of approximately 10 percent), and an EBIT margin adjusted for one-time expenses of approximately 2 percent (previously: approximately 4 percent).
The main reason for the adjustment is the ongoing economic uncertainty, particularly the weakness in the European steel market. As a result, PSI is experiencing significantly lower momentum in the Process Industries & Metals segment, as well as longer decision-making cycles for the commissioning of larger customer projects. As a result, by the end of the year, this segment will see a reduction in order intake, a 15 percent year-over-year decline in revenue, and a decrease in the adjusted EBIT margin to a negative figure in the low single digits. With regard to the equally challenging economic situation in the Discrete Manufacturing and Logistics segments, management continues to expect, based on current assessments, that the 2026 annual targets will be met.
