Oslo, Norway, 27 August 2026 - Omda AS (Euronext Growth Oslo: OMDA) today announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026.
Omda delivered revenue of NOK 127 million in Q2 2026, compared with NOK 121 million in Q2 2025. EBITDA reached NOK 32 million, corresponding to a margin of 25%, compared with 19% in the same quarter last year. Cash EBITDA (EBITDAC) margin increased to 18%, compared with 9% in Q2 2025. Organic growth was 9% in the quarter. Omda reiterates its guidance for 2026 of revenue between NOK 500–525 million, excluding acquisitions, and an EBITDA margin of 28–32%.
“Our results continue to demonstrate that profitable growth can be systematic.
Omda’s software is deeply embedded in mission-critical customer workflows, creating a durable foundation for recurring revenues and long-term value creation,” says CEO Sverre Flatby.
Profitable organic development The quarter’s performance was supported by 9% organic growth in local currencies.
The strong organic growth is partly camouflaged by a stronger NOK towards our trading currencies. Omda primarily serves public-sector organisations within specialised healthcare and emergency services. These long-standing customer relationships provide Omda with a high degree of earnings visibility.
During the quarter, Omda announced the acquisition of Saab Public Safety Solutions.
The transaction will significantly expand Omda’s presence in the UK and strengthen its offering across the emergency-services value chain. Closing of the acquisition is expected to take place in Q4 2026. Since signing the acquisition of Saab Public Safety Solutions on 9 June 2026, the business has secured additional customer agreements with an estimated value of approximately SEK 60 million. This strengthens the expected revenue base going forward and means that a portion of the contingent earn-out consideration is now expected to become payable.
Omda expects AI-enabled development to support productivity, product quality and a gradual reduction in capitalised development expenditure as a proportion of revenue, while maintaining the pace of product innovation.
“AI strengthens every part of Omda. It helps us improve the way we develop, test and document our software, while also creating new opportunities to increase the value of our products for customers,” Flatby says.
For 2026, Omda reiterates its expectation of:
• Revenue between NOK 500–525 million, excluding acquisitions.
• EBITDA margin between 28–32%.
• Revenue contribution from the acquisition of Saab Public Safety Solutions in 2026 will depend on the closing date, which is currently expected in Q4 2026.
The announced acquisition of Saab Public Safety Solutions is expected to significantly increase Omda’s revenue from 2027 onwards.
