COMMENTS FROM CEO MATS WALLNÉR
The second quarter was characterized by continued strong interest in Polymer Factory's products from leading international organizations.
“Well positioned to create long term value for our customers, partners and shareholders”
Strengthening our commercial position
The second quarter was characterized by continued strong interest in Polymer Factory's products from leading international organizations. During the quarter, we initiated several commercial collaborations with multinational companies that recognize the significant value our technologies can deliver to their customers. Although the global market continues to be affected by geopolitical uncertainty, macroeconomic challenges and cautious investment decisions, we are seeing encouraging momentum in our commercial discussions.
Strategic collaborations driving future growth
A major achievement during the quarter was the initiation of a strategic collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific in the United States regarding our innovative SpheriCal® technology. Thermo Fisher Scientific recognizes the commercial potential of our calibration products for enabling new applications in advanced multidimensional mass spectrometry. In addition, several other multinational companies have expressed strong interest in the same technology area, reinforcing our confidence in the long-term commercial potential of SpheriCal®.
Global customers validate our technology
Our Dendrimers & Dendrons business continues to develop positively. During the quarter, Polymer Factory supplied products to several leading international companies and world-renowned academic institutions. Customers included GSK, Ascendis Pharma, Merck, STEMCELL Technologies, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Princeton University. The continued confidence shown by these organizations demonstrates the quality, performance and competitiveness of our technologies and products
Promising progress in drug delivery research
Development of our Dendritic Nanogels (DNG) continues to demonstrate significant potential as advanced drug delivery systems for difficult-to-treat cancers, including glioblastoma and triple-negative breast cancer. Results from the collaborative research published in 2025 demonstrated promising performance of our patented bis-MPA dendritic nanotechnology, including high drug-loading capacity, efficient tumor penetration and significant inhibition of cancer cell growth in laboratory studies. During the second half of 2026, the research team plans to repeat the laboratory studies to further validate these encouraging results and support the next stages of development.
Well positioned for the future
Polymer Factory is built on decades of world-class research and expertise in dendritic materials and advanced polymer technologies. Today, we are supplying products to some of the world's leading companies and research institutions while continuing to expand our commercial opportunities through strategic partnerships and product innovation.
