Zug/Mühlheim am Main, August 6, 2026 – PLAN-B NET ZERO AG (“PLAN-B”), an innovative provider of digitally integrated neo-energy solutions, is continuing its dynamic growth trajectory and has increased the number of electricity customers and platform users to around 115,000 as of 30 June 2026 within just a few months. At the end of 2025, the figure was still around 60,000. This development underlines the high market acceptance of the innovative business model and strengthens the positioning as one of the fastest-growing digital energy platforms in the German-speaking region.
As a neo-energy platform, PLAN-B transfers key aspects of digital technology and platform models to the energy market. At its core, the company combines the direct supply of private customers with 100% certified green electricity with intelligent management and digital customer interaction via an app. In doing so, PLAN-B goes beyond pure energy supply and creates a modern, technology-supported ecosystem that combines efficiency, user-friendliness and scalability. At the same time, the platform opens up additional revenue potential, for example through community and affiliate offerings tailored to customer needs. Initial offerings are already in the test phase and are to be integrated into the app and rolled out in the coming weeks.
A central component of the neo-energy business model is the company’s next-generation technology platform. It supports more efficient management of energy use and creates the basis for extensive digital services.
Through a platform-as-a-service approach (“Business Process Outsourcing/BPO”), PLAN-B also makes its technological infrastructure available to partners that want to focus on their core business and leave business processing to an experienced team with a state-of-the-art technology platform. After the first BPO customer has already been on board for more than a year (pilot operation since mid-2025, contractually formalised in 2026), another customer was recently contractually connected. Negotiations with a company from another industry are well advanced. Further new BPO customers are in the pipeline.
This strong development in the number of electricity customers and platform users in recent months demonstrates the company’s operational momentum and underlines the high market acceptance of a fully digital customer access model and an attractive tariff structure. The increase achieved in this relevant customer and user base of more than 90% since the end of 2025 shows the impressive speed at which PLAN-B is already growing and gaining market share. This development is supported by an efficient multi-channel sales model and a strong expansion of the sales partner network and digital marketing.
