Peter Thörn, newly elected Chairman of the Board of Ortelius, comments:
"Ortelius has built strong expertise within Data Readiness and Enterprise AI, areas that are becoming increasingly important for organizations seeking to create business value through data and artificial intelligence. At the same time, I am fully aware of the financial challenges facing the Company. I look forward to working together with the Board and management to address these challenges, further develop the business, and create long-term value for customers, employees, and shareholders."
Danne Persson also joins the Board of Directors. He brings extensive experience in business development, digitalization, and change management from senior positions in both the private and public sectors. Danne also has strong insight into Ortelius' operations through Tech5, which became part of the Group in 2025, and will continue to serve in an operational role within the Company alongside his Board assignment. Danne Persson is not considered independent in relation to the Company and its executive management due to his employment with Tech5. However, he is considered independent in relation to the Company's major shareholders. As of the date of this press release, Danne Persson holds no shares in the Company.
Danne Persson comments on his new role:
"Many organizations are investing in AI and new digital solutions today, but the underlying challenges related to data quality, information management, and governance remain. Ortelius offers solutions that address these needs and enable customers to realize the value of their digital investments. I look forward to contributing to the Company's continued development and long-term value creation."
Magnus Pårup remains a member of the Board of Directors and contributes continuity together with extensive experience from both the consulting industry and the public sector.
