NRC Group today published its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026.

Group Highlights
Second quarter:
* EBIT margin of 3.6% (3.4%) and EBIT of NOK 61 million (NOK 60 million), despite a NOK 71 million one-off legal charge related to a Swedish project dating back to 2018
* Underlying profitability improved in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Machine.
Special Operations according to expectations.
* Operating cash flow of NOK 180 million (NOK 83 million)
* Submitted final claim to Bane NOR (NOK 566 million) related to ETM project, negotiations in third quarter.
* Second wave of light rail projects secured in Finland, only first phases included in the order backlog
* Order backlog of NOK 8,926 million (NOK 9,026 million) with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.2x in the quarter
* Revenue of NOK 1,704 million (NOK 1,763 million)
* Net interest-bearing debt decreased by NOK 123 million
* Order intake of NOK 2,046 million (NOK 1,758 million), including contracts in Norway, Sweden and Finland
* Strategic review of Gunnar Knutsen is ongoing
* Performance developing according to long-term strategy
