Arendal, Norway, 7 October 2026.
In September, Norse Atlantic Airways ("Norse" or "the Company") maintained commercial momentum with unit revenue (TRASK) up 35% year-over-year to 5.8 US cents per available seat kilometer. As in recent months, targeted capacity reductions affected the number of passengers carried, while a continued high load factor confirms strong demand for Norse's long-haul product.
Eivind Roald, the CEO of Norse, comments:
"Unit revenue to date in 2026 is up 25% from last year, as Norse maintains a strong network performance with close to full airplanes and stabile operational performance. We continue to fly with reduced capacity in response to the prolonged high fuel prices, while continuously optimizing our fleet allocation going forward.
In line with our flexible fleet deployment strategy, we have adjusted our winter program with increased focus on the Far East and see continued positive momentum for initial bookings. Norse continues to pursue attractive opportunities for additional fleet allocation in the charter and ACMI markets."
