Nordic Mining ASA: Legal proceedings initiated by EPC contractor

Oslo, Norway – 23 September 2026

Nordic Mining ASA ("Nordic Mining") has been notified that its EPC contractor, Nordic Bulk AS, has initiated legal proceedings against Nordic Mining's subsidiary Engebø Rutile and Garnet AS ("ERG"), claiming payment of approximately NOK 50 million under the EPC contract for the Engebø Rutile and Garnet project.

ERG rejects the claim. The claim is partially rejected as unsubstantiated, and ERG has also withheld payments under the EPC contract pending Nordic Bulks rectification of defects.

The case will not affect operations at Engebø.

As previously communicated, the ramp-up at Engebø has been slower than planned due to operational and technical challenges, including equipment delivered under the EPC contract not performing to the project's design basis.
