Nine Mile Metals DDH Wd-26-14 Intersects 5.09% Cu-Eq Over 14.15m Including 6.35% Cu-Eq Over 9m and 7.45% Cu-Eq Over 6m

TORONTO, ON / ACCESS Newswire / September 24, 2026 / Nine Mile Metals Ltd. (CSE:NINE)(OTCID:VMSXF)(FSE:KQ9) (the "Company" or "Nine Mile") is pleased to announce assay results for DDH WD-26-14, at the Wedge Mine in the Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick.

WD-26-14 HIGHLIGHTS:

• DDH WD-26-14 intersected 5.09% Cu-Eq over 14.15 m (107.35 - 121.50 m, true width), including 6.35% Cu-Eq over 9.00 m and 7.45% Cu-Eq over 6.00 m.
• Peak sample of 8.59% Cu-Eq (3.41% Cu, 2.29% Pb, 11.30% Zn, 55 g/t Ag, 0.829 g/t Au) from 120.50 - 121.50 m.
• Grades strengthen with depth - the six highest Cu-Eq samples all sit in the bottom 6 m of the intersection
• Peak individual metals: 4.57% Cu, 11.30% Zn, 2.29% Pb, 62 g/t Ag and 1.355 g/t Au.
• Eight (8) BHEM surveys commencing on perimeter holes, with results processed onsite within 24 hours, to target the second round of drilling on the depth and lateral extent of the lenses.

DDH WD-26-14 was collared in the southwest, at the edge of our drill pattern(oriented at 295°, angled -65° below horizontal), to a depth of 158 meters. Collared in graphitic sediments, the drill hole was successful, intersecting high-grade VMS mineralization between 107.35 - 121.50 meters followed by intercalated sediment and volcanics to 135.1 meters, the hole terminating in felsic volcanics. The mineralization consisted of pyritic VMS with visible chalcopyrite and local galena (Figure 1) and sphalerite (Figure 4), the assay values for Ag, Au, Cu and Zn increasing with depth.

Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration and Director, stated, "The drill holes collared in the southwest continue to impress, with both base and precious metal grades increasing with depth. The drill holes in the southwest demonstrate the width of the mineralization and following the upcoming BHEM survey, a second round of drilling will assist in characterizing both the depth and lateral extent of the individual lenses."
