Nimlas has agreed to acquire Tammelan Talotekniikka Oy, a technical installation company with annual revenue of approximately EUR 12 million and strong expertise in complex design-and-build projects. The acquisition adds broad multidisciplinary capabilities to Nimlas’ growing network of local companies in the Tampere region, one of Finland’s largest technical installation markets.Including Tammelan Talotekniikka, the businesses Nimlas has acquired or agreed to acquire in Finland in 2026 represent more than EUR 60 million in combined annual revenue.
Tammelan Talotekniikka primarily delivers technical installation projects for commercial, office and industrial properties, as well as hospitals, both as design-and-build projects and traditional installation contracts. Its expertise covers heating and plumbing, ventilation and electrical installations.
Founded in 2002, Tammelan Talotekniikka employs 34 professionals and works with an extensive network of subcontractors. The company generated revenue of approximately EUR 12 million in 2025.
“Tammelan Talotekniikka has a strong local position and broad capabilities ranging from project development and design to high-quality technical installations. The company brings exactly the kind of comprehensive expertise and strong project experience that we value,” says Mikko Sahikallio, Business Director at Nimlas Finland.
With Tammelan Talotekniikka, Nimlas will have four local companies in the Tampere region, further strengthening its capabilities, particularly in multidisciplinary design-and-build projects.
“The Tampere region has an active project market and good opportunities for growth. Each of our local companies has its own strengths, and Tammelan Talotekniikka further strengthens our combined capabilities in the region,” Sahikallio says.
In line with Nimlas’ decentralised model, Tammelan Talotekniikka will continue under its own name and existing management, while gaining access to the expertise, resources and support of the broader Nimlas network.
“Nimlas made a professional and convincing impression on us from the beginning. Its ambitious growth targets fit well with the way we think about our own business. We want to continue developing the company and grow profitably,” says Eetu Heikkilä, Managing Director of Tammelan Talotekniikka.
“Through Nimlas, we gain a strong network around us and new colleagues to exchange ideas with. Together, we can take on an even broader range of projects,” Heikkilä continues.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
With the Tammelan Talotekniikka transaction, the businesses Nimlas has acquired or agreed to acquire in Finland in 2026 represent more than EUR 60 million in combined annual revenue.
