Nightingale Health and Archipelago Health enter into agreement to bring the Nightingale Health Check to the Crown Dependencies, Bermuda and the Caribbean

Nightingale Health and Archipelago Health have signed an agreement to bring the Nightingale Health Check, a single blood test that detects the risk of several major chronic diseases, to small-island healthcare systems across the Crown Dependencies, Bermuda and the wider Caribbean, following the letter of intent the companies announced on July 1, 2026. Archipelago Health will deliver the test under its Longitude brand through the primary care services islands already run, using a standard blood sample, so no new infrastructure is needed to start. First live testing is planned for November 2026, beginning in Jersey.

Under the agreement, Archipelago Health will offer the Nightingale Health Check in the Crown Dependencies, Bermuda and the Caribbean under its Longitude brand, and Nightingale Health will analyse the samples. The test will be available through two collection routes: a standard blood sample taken at GP practices and laboratories, and a finger-prick dried blood spot sample that can be collected in workplaces or remotely. From a single blood sample, the Nightingale Health Check produces a 10-year risk estimate for five chronic diseases: heart attack, ischemic stroke, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and fatty liver disease.

Small-island jurisdictions carry a high burden of heart- and metabolism-related disease, yet they are often among the last to receive new health technology because they lack the scale to support new infrastructure. The agreement is built to work the other way round. Because the Nightingale Health Check is delivered through existing primary care using standard blood collection, it fits the care pathways islands already operate rather than requiring new ones. First live testing is planned for November 2026, with Jersey as the first jurisdiction.
