Oslo, 17th of September — Norwegian Block Exchange AS ("NBX" or the "Company", Euronext Growth Oslo: NBX) has been registered as an agent for MoneyGram International with the National Bank of Belgium (Nationale Bank van België / Banque nationale de Belgique), MoneyGram's home-state supervisor in the EEA. The registration takes effect on 4th of October 2026.
The registration enables NBX to offer its customers access to the MoneyGram global network, spanning more than 200 countries and territories and over 470,000 agent locations. For NBX customers this means the ability to withdraw funds in cash at MoneyGram locations worldwide, in addition to existing digital payout channels.
Cash access has been one of the structural gaps between digital asset platforms and traditional banking. With the MoneyGram registration in place, NBX can offer a last-mile cash-out capability in markets where card acceptance, bank transfers or local payment rails are limited or unavailable.
The agent registration complements NBX's existing regulatory platform: a Norwegian Electronic Money Institution licence and MiCA CASP authorisation from Finanstilsynet, both passported across the EEA.
Technical integration and commercial launch will follow the effective date of the registration, and NBX will revert with further information on timing and market availability.
