NBX reaches new milestone on the path to becoming a Digital Asset Bank — selects Tieto Banktech as core banking software partner

Oslo, 20 July 2026 — Norwegian Block Exchange AS ("NBX", Euronext Growth Oslo: NBX) today announces that it has selected Tieto Banktech as its software partner for core banking, marking another significant milestone in the company's strategy to become a fully regulated Digital Asset Bank.

The decision extends an existing partnership: Tieto Banktech already delivers the card issuing and processing infrastructure for NBX's upcoming multicurrency Visa card programme. With this selection, Tieto Banktech's core banking platform will also provide NBX with account ledger, payments processing and account infrastructure capabilities — establishing a single, bank-grade technology backbone across NBX's card, stablecoin and banking initiatives.

Tieto Banktech (formerly Tietoevry Banking) is one of the leading providers of financial technology in the Nordics, with its software powering banks and payment institutions across Europe. The platform is delivered as a managed service and is designed to meet the regulatory, security and operational resilience requirements applicable to licensed banks, including DORA.

The core banking platform will support the multicurrency Visa card programme, scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2026, and forms a key building block in NBX's plan to establish a licensed bank as the next stage of its Digital Asset Bank strategy.
