Road Mobility Services, offering a full-service concept for heavy-duty vehicles across Europe combining emergency roadside assistance with workshop services, has a new majority owner as Nalka acquires a majority stake from Consolid. At the same time, the board is strengthened as Cary Group CEO Anders Jensen takes over as chairperson.

Road Mobility Services has quickly built a strong position by bringing together high-performing companies in emergency roadside assistance and workshop services along major transport routes in Europe. The company currently operates 83 of its own workshops in four countries and, through its extensive network, has access to more than 3,000 additional trusted partners across Europe, ensuring round-the-clock access to professional help. By providing specialist expertise and on-site solutions, Road Mobility Services minimizes downtime and maximizes uptime, addressing a clear need in the market.
"In a short time, we've built a reputation as a leading provider in the maintenance and repair sector in Europe," says Catarina Göthberg, CEO of Road Mobility Services. "To continue strengthening our geographic presence, we're excited to welcome Nalka as new long-term owner. This transaction reflects the significant opportunities ahead as we accelerate our strategy and continue expanding our service platform."

Investment company Nalka is succeeding Consolid as the new majority owner. Consolid, alongside other existing co-owners, is reinvesting and remaining a minority owner.
“Through our previous investments in logistics, we have strengthened our conviction that the sector for heavy-duty road transport is vital to Europe’s supply chains and economic resilience. Road Mobility Services has built a leading European position through its entrepreneurial culture and customer focus, aiming to always minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. We look forward to partnering with Consolid as a significant minority shareholder, alongside the reinvesting founders and RMS management, to expand the company’s geographic footprint and service offering,“ says Martin Lagerblad, Managing Director, Nalka.
As part of the ownership change, Anders Jensen, CEO of Cary Group, is stepping in as the new chairperson of the board of Road Mobility Services.
"Road Mobility Services has quickly established a strong market position through a clear and well-executed consolidation strategy in a fragmented segment," says Anders Jensen, incoming chairperson of Road Mobility Services and CEO of Cary Group. "This mirrors my own experience with acquisition-driven growth, and I look forward to bringing that perspective to the board. The company has built a platform that addresses a clear need for heavy-duty vehicles along Europe's largest and most important road networks, and I see strong potential for continued expansion."
