MPC Energy Solutions ("MPCES", "Company") has signed an agreement to sell its remaining solar PV project Los Girasoles in Colombia. The conclusion of the transaction is expected to happen in the coming days.
Los Girasoles was one of the IPO assets of MPCES, which developed and built the 12.3 MWp project before the plant commenced operations in mid-2023. The Company had previously announced that it intended to sell the project as part of the Company's overall divestment plans. Following the sale, MPCES will have no further project activities in Colombia.
MPCES and the buyer have decided not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
Following the divestment, the Company's remaining assets include cash, a 15.8 MWp solar PV plant in Mexico, and a 7% equity stake in a US-based microgrid developer.
