Motzfeldt Field Programme Mobilisation and Processing Update
Arkadian Strategic Metals Plc (AIM: AKN), the strategic metals and gold focused exploration and development company, is pleased to provide an update on preparations for the 2026 field programme at the Motzfeldt Critical Metals Project in South Greenland.
Further to the Company's operational update of 30 June 2026, the field team is scheduled to mobilise to Greenland from 26 July 2026, with the first field activities planned for 29 July 2026.

Details
Motzfeldt Field Programme Mobilisation
The field programme will be undertaken by a team of geologists under the lead of Arkadian's Principal Geologist, Dr Curtis Rooks. In addition, the Arkadian team will work with the two other specialist field teams on site:
- TheiaX, who will undertake hyperspectral surveying at the Merino prospect; and
- BioApp, who will undertake environmental baseline studies at the key sites for the future development of the Motzfeldt project.
Logistical arrangements are now complete, following detailed planning and liaison with the Company's local logistics provider for the past several months. The remaining operational details include final coordination for the handling and onward transportation of the bulk sample to be collected at the Aries deposit.
The scope of the field activities remains as set out in the Company's announcement of 30 June 2026 and includes the collection of a bulk sample from the Aries JORC resource area, field-based hyperspectral imaging at Merino and environmental baseline studies across the key project sites.
Community and Municipality engagement
Dr Rooks is scheduled to meet representatives of the Municipality of Kujalleq in Qaqortoq on 27 July 2026. The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the forthcoming Motzfeldt programme and Arkadian's plans for ongoing engagement with local communities in respect of the future development of the project.
Processing Test Work
Rougher and cleaner flotation tests have now been completed as part of the Company's first-pass mineralogical and beneficiation programme in South Africa. The resulting concentrates and tailings have been submitted for chemical analysis. Final assays and the complete technical report are expected around the end of July / early August, reflecting the turnaround time at the external assay laboratory.
Once the complete dataset has been received, the Company will review the results alongside its technical advisers before determining the scope of the next processing work programme.
SRK Consulting's review of the existing metallurgical information, which forms part of their ongoing review of the existing JORC resource for the Aries deposit, will also be completed once these final test work results are available.
Historic drill core
The Company is in the process of selecting historic drill core for relogging, following consultation with SRK Consulting who worked on the resource drilling programmes at Motzfeldt. The selection will focus on drill core considered most relevant to the current geological model and the future review and development of the existing JORC mineral resource.
Arrangements are being progressed with the Greenland authorities for the selected core to be moved from temporary storage to the appropriate facility before the winter period.
Satellite remote sensing
The Company has been informed that the planned licence-scale satellite remote sensing data acquisition has been partially completed, with the rest of the acquisition to be completed in the coming days.
The dataset is being processed by TheiaX GmbH. The resulting outputs are expected to assist in identifying areas of interest for geological follow-up and, where timing permits, to help inform precise bulk sampling activities during the forthcoming field programme. The Company will provide a further update once the data has been processed and reviewed.
Funding Programmes
The Company is progressing potential applications for funding support from relevant governmental funding schemes both in the UK and overseas.

Dr Curtis Rooks, Arkadian's Principal Geologist, commented:
"The focus over the past several weeks has been on turning our various planned Motzfeldt work streams into a practical and effective field programme. All travel, equipment and services procurement and the principal logistics are now substantially in place, allowing our team, plus the teams from our field contractors TheiaX and BioApp, to start to mobilise to site from the end of this week.
"This will be the first use of hyperspectral imaging at the Motzfeldt Centre. At Merino, the hyperspectral survey will build on the groundbreaking geological work already completed on the enriched chimney structures, helping us to refine their interpretation, trace them across the cliff faces and assess their potential continuity at depth.
"We are also looking forward to collecting a new bulk sample from within the Aries JORC mineral resource area. This material will support the next phase of more detailed processing test work, building on the first-stage beneficiation and flotation programme which is now approaching completion, with samples currently undergoing chemical analysis. In parallel, we are identifying the historic drill core that can provide the greatest value through relogging.
"The work programme includes an environmental baseline study by experienced consultants BioApp. As the project is still under development, the baseline screening will focus on the most likely development sites at Motzfeldt which currently consists of the Aries deposit area as well as two alternative land transportation routes.
"Taken together, the desktop studies, fieldwork and processing programmes are advancing in a coordinated way across the main technical and development workstreams at Motzfeldt. We look forward to providing regular updates from site in the coming weeks."
