Moomoo Launches Real-Time* Deposit Capabilities Through Visa and Checkout.com

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moomoo, a leading global investment and trading platform, today announced an expansion of its account funding capabilities through Visa, one of the world leaders in digital payments, and Checkout.com. Moomoo’s collaboration with Visa and Checkout.com now allows eligible users to make real-time* deposits through Apple Pay and Google Pay to invest in stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs and options and event contracts.

The collaboration expansion provides users with a fast and more convenient way to transfer funds into their Moomoo accounts and invest. By expanding beyond traditional bank transfer methods and business-hour limitations, eligible Moomoo users can deposit funds 24 hours a day, seven days a week and gain real-time* access to capital to provide flexibility when investment opportunities arise. Access to funds will be subject to funding availability.

“Investors expect the same speed and execution in their investing experience that they access through other market-leading digital products,” said Neil McDonald, CEO of Moomoo U.S. “Expanding our funding capabilities through Visa and Checkout.com makes it easier for users to quickly move money into their Moomoo accounts when they are ready to invest. Combined with the expanded market access and AI-enhanced investing tools on the Moomoo platform, this collaboration marks a transformative step in giving investors greater control over how and when they put their money to work.”

Account Funding Fast and More Accessible

The enhanced deposit system leverages Visa's global payments network and Checkout.com's payment infrastructure to provide a streamlined funding experience within the Moomoo app. Users can select Apple Pay or Google Pay as their deposit method and complete transactions using an eligible debit card linked to their digital wallet, reducing the steps required to fund their account.

“Digital investment and trading platforms across the globe, have transformed the way consumers move funds in and out of their accounts,” said Jakub Petri, VP Business Development and Partnerships at Visa. “We’re extending that real-time experience to account funding, giving investors on the Moomoo platform a secure and convenient way to fund their accounts through Apple Pay and Google Pay, powered by Visa’s global network.”

“Investors need digital financial experiences that are fast, intuitive, and able to keep pace with their portfolio decisions,” said Jim Cho, VP of Revenue Growth in North America at Checkout.com. “Our collaboration with Moomoo and Visa represents an essential step in providing the infrastructure investors need to move money at the same pace that they make decisions in a market that is increasingly 24/7.”
