Kinetics LNG Holdings Limited - New Investment Announcement
Kinetics LNG is pleased to announce to its investors, bondholders and other market stakeholders its decision to further expand its LNG infrastructure fleet through a new FSRU conversion investment.
The new project involves the conversion of the LNG carrier into a new FSRU that will add 143,00 cbm multi-spec FSRU to the Kinetics LNG fleet and further broaden the operational capabilities of the platform. The FSRU vessel is intended to complement the existing fleet by providing utility scale regasification capacity together with the flexibility required to serve a wide range of potential project configurations.
The global LNG market continues to demonstrate a strong need for flexible and rapidly deployable regasification infrastructure. Increasing focus on security of energy supply, the need for flexible import capacity and the ability to bring additional gas infrastructure online within shorter development timelines continue to support demand for floating LNG solutions. This investment further strengthens Kinetics LNG’s LNG fleet and its ability to serve a broad range of market requirements through a diversified fleet of high specification and utility scale FSRU assets.
