Katalysen Ventures AB (publ) has recently received new information regarding its portfolio company Matchmeeting AB, which operates the InvitePeople platform. Based on the information currently available, Katalysen expects the valuation applied to Matchmeeting in its next financial report (Q3 2026) to be more than 50 percent higher than in its most recent report (Q2 2026). In that report, Katalysen’s holding in Matchmeeting was valued at SEK 28.8 million. The revaluation would therefore increase the total value of Katalysen’s portfolio by more than SEK 14.4 million.
The expected increase in value is driven by sharply accelerating results from Matchmeeting’s customer and partner strategy, as well as an updated forecast. Approximately 95 percent of forecast revenue is attributable to existing customer and partner relationships.
Earlier this year, Matchmeeting began a process to place some of its existing shares with one or more suitable larger investors. The company has engaged an external adviser to conduct the process, and discussions are ongoing with several larger investors. Katalysen views these discussions positively and may, as part of such a transaction, sell up to half of its current holding, thereby making a partial exit.
The process concerns existing shares and is therefore not intended to raise new capital for Matchmeeting. The company has been cash-flow positive for the past year, has no need for growth capital, and expects growth of several hundred percent in both revenue and earnings over the next two years.
