IT - NDTS - Announcement of Nasdaq Derivatives Trading System (NDTS) migration to AWS Outpost
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Outpost is a fully managed service that extends AWS infrastructure and tools to customer premises for low-latency, local data processing using standard AWS interfaces.
This IT Notice contains information about mandatory activities for all customers and service providers with connectivity to the current NDTS Production and Test (EqD Test) systems.
Nasdaq Stockholm AB (“Nasdaq Stockholm”) intends to move the current NDTS (Nasdaq Derivatives Trading System) to an Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) Outpost installation in the VASBY and STOCKHOLM SOUTH datacenters. NDTS Test (EqD Test) will move from current VASBY datacenter to AWS Outpost on February 1, 2027, and the move of NDTS Production from VASBY and STOCKHOLM SOUTH datacenters to corresponding AWS Outposts is estimated to take place on October 18, 2027. This migration will be the first phase of a long-term Nasdaq Nordic and Nasdaq Baltic initiative for moving all our major trading systems to AWS Outpost.
This migration project will affect all connectivity and service providers as well as end-clients providing or having access to NDTS (Nasdaq Derivatives Trading System).
All impacted clients will receive new connectivity details.
There will be no change to the version of the NDTS Test (EqD Test) and NDTS Production software, i.e. no certification/conformance tests will be needed due to this migration.
Connectivity Architecture
The primary VASBY data center in Upplands Väsby, north of Stockholm, will remain the same, as our current secondary data center STOCKHOLM SOUTH.
The current connectivity solution through Direct Connect, Extranet Providers or NODE services will remain the same.
New IP ranges and destination IP addresses will be added within the VASBY and STOCKHOLM SOUTH AWS Outpost solution and needs to be verified.
Affected NDTS Test (EqD Test) connections
NDTS Test (EqD Test) will receive new subnets when migrated to VASBY Outpost. In addition, ITCH Multicast and customer-specific Unicast IPs will change.
Impacted connections:
- Unicast: OUCH, FIX, FIX Drop, GLIMPSE (TCP), ITCH Re-request (TCP) ports
- Multicast: ITCH Multicast (UDP), ITCH Re-request (UDP) connections
Please note that connectivity details for GCF/TIP and AMD Multicast will not change.

New customer-specific IP details to OUCH, FIX, FIX Drop, GLIMPSE (TCP) and ITCH Re-request (TCP) will be published in the Member Portal during November 2026.
Details related to the move of NDTS Production into VASBY and STOCKHOLM SOUTH Outposts will be published during Q2, 2027.
Direct connect and Extranet providers
Direct Connect and Extranet Providers need to enable access to the new subnets for NDTS Test (EqD Test) clients in the VASBY Outpost.
Direct connect and Extranet customers
Customers connecting through Direct Connect or Extranet will need to prepare new destination IPs and participate in upcoming connectivity testing activities.
Co-location customers
Access from and to the co-location area to our Extranet switch in the VASBY data center will remain the same, but customers will need to prepare new destination IPs and participate in upcoming connectivity testing activities.
NODE customers
NODE customers will be connected to the VASBY data center via existing infrastructure. No action is required except for preparing new destination IPs and participating in upcoming connectivity testing activities.
