IT - INET Nordic - Auction Trading semi-annual periodic update
Background
Nasdaq Nordic* operates Auction Trading Market Segments to support certain less liquid instruments on Nasdaq First North Growth Market Sweden (MIC: SSME), Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland (MIC: FSME), Nasdaq First North Growth Market Denmark (MIC: DSME) and Nasdaq First North Growth Market Iceland (MIC: FNIS). Instruments are allocated to these segments if they fulfil pre-defined criteria set out under Criteria B in Appendix AA of the Nasdaq INET Nordic Market Model.
When spreads in continuous trading become too wide, relatively small orders can cause significant price movements. Such volatility may be particularly harmful to retail investors and may affect overall confidence in market integrity. Concentrating liquidity in scheduled auctions is intended to support more robust price formation for these instruments.

This IT Notice lists the instruments allocated for Auction Trading for the fourth quarter of 2026 and first quarter of 2027 i.e. from October 15, 2026 up to and including April 14, 2027. The next periodic update under Criteria B will be published on April 8, 2027.

An instrument will be transferred to a market segment with continuous trading immediately when the issuer engages a liquidity provider, and the liquidity provider initiates quoting on the instrument in question, or when the liquidity of the instrument has improved as assessed by Nasdaq Nordic in accordance with the criteria outlined in Appendix AA of the Nasdaq INET Nordic Market Model. A separate IT Notice will be published for any such a transfer.

The Nasdaq First North Growth Market Rulebook for Issuers of Shares contains the legal basis for allocating instrument to and from Auction Trading. The Rulebook is available at the Nasdaq Nordic website under Issuer Rules at Nasdaq First North MTF Rules & Regulations. Appendix AA of the Nasdaq INET Nordic Market Model sets out the criteria for Auction Trading. The Market Model is available at the Nasdaq Nordic website under Market Models at Nordic Member Rules.
