Interview with Wyld Networks AB CEO Kjell Olovsson on the Q2 Report
Kjell Olovsson, CEO of Wyld Networks AB (publ), answered questions from Per Stolt, editor at “Dagens Börs”. The following is an English translation of an interview published today in Swedish.

What is the status of the pilot order?
"The timeline previously communicated for the pilot order has been met. The Ukrainian customer now has a number of DSS units in place in Ukraine, where testing and evaluation are underway.
What is particularly encouraging is the strong commitment from the pilot customer. They are devoting considerable time and resources to the testing, and we are in essentially daily contact with them. We also have a Wyld employee on site in Ukraine taking part in the testing alongside the customer.
That gives us a very good opportunity to follow how the system performs in practice and to act quickly on the feedback that comes back.
We will provide further information on the pilot order once we have concrete results and information we are able to share."
What does interest look like for your DSS (Drone Satellite System)?
"We are seeing clear and growing interest in DSS.
What makes the solution compelling is that it adds functionality that is difficult to achieve by other means.
At the same time, we have developed the solution with the drone's constraints in mind. It is small, weighs very little and has low power consumption. Those are important characteristics, because every gram and every watt counts in a drone application.
Another major advantage is that DSS is built on our existing technology. For a drone manufacturer, that means integration can be done easily and without having to change their existing system.
It is the combination of functionality, size, weight, power consumption and ease of integration that we believe makes DSS attractive in the market."
Why should people believe in future success for Wyld Networks?
"We see several concrete reasons to be positive about Wyld Networks going forward.
First, our focus has shifted. We have moved from putting substantial resources into building and developing a broad business, to concentrating far more clearly on customers, sales and the commercialization of products where we see clear market potential.
Second, through the acquisition of OKT Technology we have created a highly capable team of engineers in Sweden and the UK. That gives us a strong combination of technical expertise, systems knowledge and experience of international customers and product development.
Third, we see a concrete opportunity in the drone market. DSS is built largely on technology and expertise that already exist within Wyld, which means we are not starting from zero. We have been able to adapt an existing platform to a new application area where we see a clear need.
We have also already received a pilot order and are now carrying out practical tests together with the customer. In parallel, we are in dialogue with further potential customers in Europe.
The big change in the company is that we now have a sharper focus, a concrete product, an identified market, and customers who are actually testing the solution.
That is what makes us considerably more positive about Wyld Networks' future prospects."
