Insig AI makes first digital asset investment
Insig AI invests in Belgium based AI agent micropayments solutions provider
In April 2026, Insig AI, a leading provider of AI led data infrastructure and machine learning solutions reported that it had evaluated over 100 digital asset investment opportunities. The Company stated that that Board's focus was not only on the "picks and shovels" of the sector but on identifying ventures with the capacity to deliver exceptional returns for shareholders.
Today, the Company is pleased to announce that it has made it first digital asset investment: in ATM Labs B.V., trading as 4Mica, a Belgium based, early-stage AI agent micropayments solutions provider. This investment forms part of the Company's digital assets investments proposition, demonstrating Insig AI's ability to provide institutional access to enterprises offering business solutions in the emerging digital asset economy.
Insig AI has committed to invest an immediate €300,000 (in aggregate) with completion expected within 45 days. The investment is to be satisfied in cash structured by issuance of a convertible loan instrument from Insig AI to 4Mica ("Convertible Loan"). The Convertible Loan has a zero interest rate and maturity date of 31 August 2027. Should the Convertible Loan be converted, this will equate to a 2.94 per cent fully diluted interest in 4Mica. Additionally, Insig AI has committed to invest €1 million conditional upon 4Mica securing a substantial fundraising round within 16 months of completion of the Convertible Loan. Richard Bernstein has indicated to the Board of Insig AI, that should it be required, he intends to underwrite such investment into Insig AI.
4Mica is building a non-custodial clearing layer for AI agent micropayments to provide a stablecoin-first cryptography-based payment rail. Creating a clearing layer between the payment protocol and the settlement layer, 4Mica believes that its clearing technology can be delivered at 99% below the cost of current transactions, while supporting significantly higher volumes.
4Mica is led by Dr. Akash Madhusudan (CEO) and Dr. Mohammad (Mairon) Mahzoun (CTO). Dr. Madhusudan earned his Phd from KU Leuven on the topic of micropayments in online decentralized systems. Dr. Mahzoun earned his Phd in cryptography from Eindhoven University of Technology on the topic of algebraic methods for advanced cryptography. The team is assisted by Dr. Tomer Ashur of 3MI Labs, a research institute in Computer Science based out of Belgium. For more information about 4Mica visit: https://www.4mica.io
Richard Bernstein, Insig AI Chief Executive commented:
"I'm delighted that we have secured this initial investment. I believe that this is exceptional market timing for 4Mica and its brilliant team. Its technology is focussed on delivering immediate and material returns for its users. Meeting our stringent investment criteria, I believe that 4Mica has the potential to deliver very substantial returns to our shareholders."
