Hussar EP513 Pre-Drill Site Works Update
Georgina Energy Plc, (LSE: GEX.L), a helium, hydrogen and natural gas exploration and development company with strategic permits in Australia, confirms that civil engineering contractors are currently completing the pre-drill site works, including water well drilling, required for the planned Q3 Hussar drilling program. These works, including site and camp preparation, represent a key step towards mobilisation of the contracted Ensign 970 drill rig to enable the testing of this exciting prospect, which has 300 km² of areal closure and is one of the largest subsalt helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbons prospects onshore Australia.
Highlights
· Final pre-drill site works underway, including levelling, compacting and water bore drilling
· Conductor pipe has now been delivered to site ahead of the planned September 2026 drilling programme
· Works being completed in compliance with the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration's approved Well Management Plan
· September spud date in Q3 2026 remains on target
· Hussar EP513 will target primary subsalt reservoir formations, including the Townsend Formation and fractured Neoproterozoic basement lithologies, for helium, hydrogen and natural gas
· Hussar ranks among the largest subsalt helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbon prospects onshore Australia, with 300 km² of areal closure
· Independent Geological Report (IGR) certified unrisked 2U Prospective Resources with substantial potential in-situ value

The final pre-drill site works, including accurately levelling and compacting the site, are being completed to ensure compliance with the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration's approved Well Management Plan lodged by Georgina's wholly owned operating subsidiary Westmarket Oil & Gas Pty Ltd in 2025. The September spud date in Q3 remains on target.
The Hussar prospect lies in the Officer Basin, Western Australia in exploration permit EP513 (SPA 0036). Georgina Energy intends to drill the EP513 Hussar well to a depth of 3,200m, targeting the primary subsalt reservoir formations, including the Townsend Formation and the fractured Neoproterozoic basement lithologies, for helium, hydrogen and natural gas.
The Hussar prospect has an Independent Geological Report dated 1st February 2026 by Competent Person Mr Maki Petkovski certifying unrisked SPE PRMS (the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Petroleum Resource Management Systems) net attributable 2U Prospective Resources of 283 BCF helium, 315 BCF hydrogen and 2.93 TCF of hydrocarbon gas.
Based on the pricing of Helium US$450/MCFG and Hydrogen US$2.65/kg and US$8/MCF for hydrocarbon gas, these volumes would equate to a total potential combined net attributable unrisked potential in-situ value of c.US$152 billion. These are estimates in-situ values from the AER (Australian Energy Regulator) and HNT (Helium Price Index) developed by the Company based on unrisked prospective resources; they exclude production, separation and transport-to-market costs, and there is no certainty that any part of these resources will be commercially recovered.
Situated within the Officer Basin, Western Australia, Georgina's Hussar EP513 project ranks among the largest subsalt helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbon prospects onshore Australia.
Further updates will follow as we progress towards the September spud date along with additional site photos which can be viewed by shareholders on the Georgina website.
Anthony Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer of Georgina Energy, commented:
"Georgina's contractors are in the process of completing the final site preparations with the water well driller expected to complete the water wells shortly. I am pleased with the progress made to date, which will support the mobilisation of the Ensign 970 drill rig to enable the drill testing of this exciting prospect in Q3 2026. These works represent another important milestone."

Notes to Editors
Georgina Energy aims to become a leading player in the global energy market and is focused on establishing itself among the top producers of helium and hydrogen worldwide. With a strategic approach and leveraging the experienced management team's expertise, Georgina Energy aims to capitalize on opportunities in these critical energy sectors.
Georgina Energy has two principal onshore interests held through its wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Westmarket O&G. The first, the Hussar Prospect is located in the Officer Basin in Western Australia and Westmarket O&G holds a 100% working interest in the exploration permit. The second, the EPA155 Mt Winter Prospect, is located in the Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory, subject to completion of the Sale Agreement Georgina Energy will hold a 100% working interest.
With the resource potential of the EP513 Hussar and the EPA155 Mt Winter projects in line with market demand trends, Georgina Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing gap between supply and demand for hydrogen, helium and gaseous hydrocarbons in Australia and globally.
