Hussar EP513 Pre-Drill Site Works Update
Georgina Energy Plc, (LSE: GEX.L), a helium and hydrogen exploration company with strategic permits in Australia, confirms that, contractors have completed several significant elements of the pre-drill site works required for the Q3 Hussar drilling program. The completed works represent a key step towards mobilisation of the contracted Ensign 970 drill rig to enable the testing of this exciting prospect, which has 300 km² of areal closure and is one of the largest subsalt Helium, Hydrogen and Hydrocarbons prospects onshore Australia.
Highlights
· The drill pad, site pad, accommodation pad and camp site have been cleared, graded and preliminary assessments of suitable gravel and clay ratios conclude that the pads will be easily accurately levelled and compacted.
· Airstrip repairs and widening have been completed, and the airstrip is currently operational with a new wind direction indicator installed.
· An appropriate water well location on the drilling pad has also been selected to facilitate water well drilling ahead of rig mobilisation.
· The seismic line access tracks have been cleared and graded from the wellsite through to the Gunbarrel Highway.
· The Gunbarrel Highway across to Wiluna has now been graded and repaired to a standard to take multiple semi-trailer loads.
· The contracted Ensign Rig 970 remains scheduled for mobilisation to site following completion of the full preparatory works, with an anticipated spud date in September 2026.
· Hussar will target primary subsalt reservoir formations, including the Townsend Formation and fractured Neoproterozoic basement lithologies, for Helium, Hydrogen and Hydrocarbon gases.
· The September spud date in Q3 remains on target.
Anthony Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer of Georgina Energy, commented:
"Georgina's contractors have completed the required preliminary site works for the drilling and development of its wholly owned Hussar EP513 Project.
"Following our site visit and inspection, I am pleased to confirm the progress made which will support both the mobilisation of the Ensign Drill Rig and completion of the engineering works required to enable the drill testing of this exciting prospect in Q3 2026.
With 300 km2 of areal closure, the Hussar prospect is one of the largest subsalt Helium, Hydrogen and Hydrocarbons prospects onshore in Australia."

The remaining pre-drill site works, including accurately leveling and compacting, are planned for completion to ensure compliance with the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration's approved Well Management Plan lodged by Georgina's wholly owned operating subsidiary Westmarket Oil & Gas Pty Ltd in 2025. The September spud date in Q3 remains on target.

The Hussar Airstrip following clearing and widening is now fully operational
The Hussar prospect lies in the Officer Basin, Western Australia in exploration permit EP513 (SPA 0036). Georgina Energy intends to drill the EP513 Hussar well to a depth of 3,200m, targeting the primary subsalt reservoir formations, including the Townsend Formation and the fractured Neoproterozoic basement lithologies, for helium, hydrogen and natural gas.
Independent consultants confirmed that Hussar has the required elements to yield net attributable 2U Prospective Resources of 155 BCFG Helium & 173 BCFG hydrogen with a potential combined in-situ value of US$55 billion (He US$350/MCFG, H US$2.65/kg) and net attributable 2U Prospective (recoverable) Resources of 1.73 TCFG of Natural Gas with potential in-situ value of US$5.24 billion.
