Half Year Trading Update and Notice of Results
Strong trading plus margin accretion
Fintel (AIM: FNTL), a leading provider of fintech and support services to the UK retail financial services sector, today issues an unaudited trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2026 ("H1" or the "Period").

"We have delivered a strong first half performance, with organic growth across our core Software, Data and Distribution activities, continued expansion in recurring revenues and double-digit EBITDA growth.
Alongside this, we have continued to execute our strategic priorities, strengthening our technology and data capabilities and simplifying the Group to create a focused quality business. We remain confident in delivering further strategic and financial progress in 2026."
Financial highlights - strong trading momentum, in line with Board expectations
· Organic1 adjusted EBITDA2 growth of 11.2% to £11.8m (HY25: £10.6m), reflecting improved performance and efficiency in the business.
· Organic1 revenue increased 2.0% to £37.4m (HY25: £36.7m) driven by continued growth in Software and Data of 2.9%, or £18.4m to £18.9m, and organic growth in Services of 1.1%, or £18.3m to £18.5m.
· Total continuing revenue1 of £38.6m (HY25: £36.7m), following the acquisition of Pearson Ham's market pricing business (MPN) and disposal of Gateway Surveying Services and APS Legal & Associates in April 2026.
· SaaS & Subscription revenue for the continuing business increased 7.9% to £26.1m, (HY25: £24.2m).
· Strong balance sheet with £7.3m cash and £76.5m of headroom in £120m Revolving Credit Facility.
· Net debt3 of £38.2m representing leverage of 1.4x after significant investment in acquisitions, people, products and services.
Strategic and operational highlights
· Launched Omnicore, a whole-of-market distribution platform, broadening access to the mortgage and protection markets.
· Continued strong momentum in Defaqto Matrix360, with the platform now serving 26 institutional insurance customers.
· Launched Trust, Fintel's AI-enabled compliance and oversight solution, extending technology penetration across our market leading intermediary customer base.
· Completed the acquisition of Pearson Ham's market pricing business in January 2026, significantly enhancing Fintel's proprietary data assets and market intelligence capabilities.
· Completed the disposal of Gateway Surveying Services and APS Legal & Associates, enabling the Group to focus on higher-margin software, data and services activities.
Outlook - Trading in line with expectations, underpinned by strong recurring revenues and positive structural growth drivers
The Group continues to benefit from positive structural growth drivers, including increasing demand for technology, data and regulatory support across the UK retail financial services sector. Current trading year ending 31 December 2026 remains in line with the Board's expectations.
Notice of Results
Fintel plans to release its results for the six months ended 30 June 2026 on 15 September 2026.
