FS GROUP: GIANPIERO STRISCIUGLIO APPOINTED
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

The Board of Directors of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, meeting today under the chairmanship of Tommaso Tanzilli, has appointed Gianpiero Strisciuglio as Chief Executive Officer, also granting him the role of General Manager.
The new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager are vested with delegations and powers in continuity with those of the previous management. The Chairman's delegations for internal control and institutional representation are confirmed.
The new Board of Directors, meeting for the first time after its appointment by today's Shareholders' Meeting, also comprises Pietro Bracco, Franco Fenoglio, Silvia Marzot, Loredana Ricciotti, and Daniela Rota.
